Blundell's Hill Golf Club, Rainhill, Merseyside, UK - http://www.blundellshill.co.uk An attractive and demanding test of golf on a compact site which offers great variety and challenge. The routing winds its way around and through existing stands of trees and outcrops of sandstone bedrock which are carefully integrated into the course routing. Greens are large and softly undulating in a links style which is typical of Steve Marnoch.
Cavendish Golf Club, Buxton, Derbyshire, UK - http://www.cavendishgolfclub.com Tom Doak included Cavendish among only four English Midlands courses in his book on 1325 courses worldwide.
